Experimental application of Shihe technology tank descaling robot in Zhengzhou Chinalco
Recently, the tank descaling robot developed by Shihe technology has been successfully tested in Zhengzhou company of aluminum industry of China, which has solved the problem of difficult removal of tank scale in aluminum industry for a long time.
Aluminum is ubiquitous in our life. In the variety of metals, it is the second largest category of metals after steel. At present, China has become a major aluminum industry in the world, forming a relatively complete industrial system integrating bauxite, alumina, electrolytic aluminum, aluminum processing and R & D. But in the production process of aluminum, there are many problems that need to be solved. For example, the problem of scale removal inside and outside the reaction tank has always been a problem in the industry.
The manufacturing process of aluminum is very complex. It has to go through many physical and chemical processes. The chemical process is often accompanied by high temperature and pressure. In terms of decomposition process, the reaction temperature should be kept at about 100 degrees. Violent chemical reaction will cause the solution to gush out from the top of the reaction tank. At the same time of discharging, as the temperature decreases, the solution will cool and then solidify on the outer wall of the tank. Due to the complex composition of the solution, after high temperature and high pressure chemical reaction, these condensates become extremely hard and difficult to remove. For a long time, this kind of condensate will not only pollute the environment, but also corrode the tank and cause perforation. In the past, it was difficult to remove the condensate outside the tank. If it needs to be removed, it is also removed manually. The disadvantages of manual work are large workload, low efficiency, and more importantly, safety accidents.
In June this year, Chinalco Zhengzhou found us, hoping to solve the problem of removing the condensation on the outer wall of the tank through the wall climbing robot technology of Shihe technology. After receiving the demand of the project, Xu Huamin, the founder of Shihe technology, led the technical team to Zhengzhou Chinalco for field investigation. Both sides made full communication and Analysis on the actual demand. Zhengzhou Chinalco hopes that we can come up with solutions as soon as possible. Back in Beijing, Shihe science and technology team opened fire. After two months' hard work, the wall climbing robot technology was successfully applied to the cleaning and descaling of the outer wall of the tank.
The tank operation robot is composed of wall climbing body, control unit and descaling unit. The wall climbing body is the core technology of Shihe science and technology. At present, its load and surface adaptability can be applied to more scenes. The control unit includes walking mechanism control, video monitoring, etc. the operator can operate remotely on the ground, and the video monitoring carried by the robot can let down The operator on the surface can check the situation on the tank body in real time to facilitate adjustment and judgment; the descaling unit carries high-pressure water jet of up to 700bar for descaling. In the past, these tanks with a height of more than 30 meters were basically cleaned by nobody, which not only affected the safety of production, but also caused environmental protection problems. The emergence of tank descaling robots solved this old problem very well.
After watching the robot descaling operation, the leaders of Zhengzhou Chinalco fully affirmed the tank descaling robot, and hoped that the two sides could have more in-depth cooperation. For example, in the next step, they hoped that the wall climbing robot could enter the tank for descaling operation. At the same time, the company leaders said that Zhengzhou Chinalco will be used as an industry promotion case to promote the tank descaling robot in the whole aluminum industry in China.
